RECENT NEWS - MARCH 2013 A certified small business enterprise based in Richmond, California, we provide civil and structural professional engineering services throughout the Bay Area. Golden Hind Pump Station - Town of Corte Madera - This recently completed pump station was tested by a major storm in late 2012 during High Tide. The pump station's performance was described by a Town Official on the scene as making a "dramatic difference". A-N West provided engineering and construction inspection and support services for the Town. Civil and structural engineering services included the design and preparation of PS&E for this stormwater pump station and associated storm drainage system improvements. |

Manzanita Drive Bridge - City of Orinda - This bridge replacement and roadway project was recently advertised in September 2012. Construction is now underway with completion scheduled for late 2013. Rumrill Boulevard Bridge - City of San Pablo - Construction of this bridge replacement over San Pablo Creek was completed April 2012. Construction activities included reconstruction of the adjacent intersection and its traffic signals, and creek improvements. The A-N West team provided the complete project design, including structural, civil, traffic, geotechnical, surveying, archeological, biological, permitting, and construction support services. |

Wanlass Park Amenities - City of San Pablo - The project was recently completed and officially opened at a ribbon cutting ceremony in March 2012. "The first Park in Contra Costa County in 44 years!" The design team included Arkin Tilt Architects in Berkeley, California and Vallier Design Associates in Point Richmond, California. Wanlass Park received the award for Best New Small Park from the California Parks and Recreation Society District 3. It was selected from among several other new small parks throughout Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. |
