IN THE NEWS - OCTOBER 2009 (1984-2009) This year we are celebrating our 25 year anniversary. Our company was incorporated in May 1984. We have been providing professional engineering services to our clients throughout northern California since that time. A-N West is an engineer-employee-owned civil and structural consulting firm based in Richmond, California.

Barrett Avenue Bike Lanes design project is currently underway for the Richmond Community Redevelopment Agency. We are preparing PS&E for Class 2 bike lanes along the 2.2-mile length of Barrett Avenue between Richmond Parkway and San Pablo Avenue. Golden Hind Pump Station design project is currently underway. Our services for the Town of Corte Madera will include the design and preparation of PS&E for this stormwater pump station and associated storm drainage system improvements. This is the first in a series of Town-wide improvements to be implemented following our recently completed Drainage and Flood Control Study. Wanlass Park Improvements Phase 2 construction is currently underway. Our services for the City of San Pablo included civil, architectural, entrance bridge, landscape improvements for this 4.5-acre park site. The completed park will include an Environmental Education Building, children's play areas, and pedestrian trails. Pinole Shores - Construction was recently completed for the First Phase of this 11-acre commercial site including 135,000 SF of commercial space in eight new buildings. A-N West services included civil engineering for all site improvements, including 2000 feet of new roads, and preparation of the Final Map. |
